Mod 1. CimatronE 3D Modeling & Drafting

Objective:

  • Learn to design very complex 3D engineering model with hybrid modeling techniques between 3D solid & surface modeling functions.

  • Learn the concept of Bottom to Top & Top to Bottom assembly design.

  • Learn how to generate engineering drawing with different projections and BOM for detailing either a single part or a whole assembly.

  • Learn various common engineering drawing standard. For example learn how to differentia the different between  ISO or ANSI drawing standard.

Mod 2. CimatronE 3D Mould Core & Cavity Splitting

Objective:

  • Learn the basic techniques of splitting the 3d model into the mould core & cavity inserts for rubber moulds, plastic moulds and casting moulds.

  • Learn how to extract sub-inserts from the main mould insert.

  • Learn how to create the slider insert.

  • Learn how to create lifter insert.

 

Mod 3. CimatronE Mould Design

Objective:

  • Learn how to layout the plastic part in plastic mould.

  • Learn the different types of standard mould base.(Futaba, LKM, Husco, DME, ...)

  • Learn how to assemble the mould inserts and various common mould component into the mould.

  • Learn how to design the mould ejection system.

  • Learn how to design the mould cooling system.

  • Learn how to design the runner system.

  • Learn how to detail a mould after completion with drawings and BOM.

  • Learn how to create a non-standard mould base and mould component.

   

Mod 4. CimatronE Die Design

Objective:

  • Learn how to design a die strip.

  • Learn the different types of standard die sets.

  • Learn how to create the trimming punches and dies.

  • Learn how to create forming punch.

  • Learn how to assemble various common die component into the die set.

  • Learn how to detail a die set after completion with drawings and BOM.

  • Learn how to create a non-standard die set and die component.

Mod 5. CimatronE EDM Electrode Design

Objective:

  • Learn when and why need to design an electrode.

  • Learn the standard of electrode clamping system.

  • Learn the common methods of surface extension in electrode design.

  • Learn how to create various types of engineering drawing and documentations for electrodes

  • Learn how to produce the electrodes in CNC machining center.

  • Learn how to setup the electrodes on to the CNC EDM machine.

 

Mod 6. CimatronE 2.5x to 3x CAM

Objective:

  • Learn how to create 2.5x pocketing, profiling, drilling and tapping CNC program with CimatronE CAM.

  • Learn how to machine a 3D part with various 3x milling machining strategies.

  • Learn how to simulate and check the tool paths generated by CAM.

  • Learn how the create the tool and part setup sheet.

  • Learn how to machine very big part such as car bumper, medium size part such as hand phone casing and very small micro part with tool diameter less than 0.1mm .

Mod 7. CimatronE Multi axis CAM (4x&5x)

Objective:

  • Learn how to program a 4x CNC milling machine with 4x positioning and 4x continuous milling.

  • Learn how to program a 5x CNC milling machine with 5x positioning and 5x continuous milling.

  • Learn how to program a complex 5x impeller on a 5x CNC machine.
